They get about ...

these cover models.

(you'll be pleased to know that the relevant article's conclusion was 'No.' But I do kind of wish BL books had 'Ban this filth' as a strapline.)

update: Another sighting! (Thanks, Madelynne)

and again ... (Thanks Saskia!)

Tongue tied

apologies for radio silence - it's been sunny here and I've been off walking and rescuing tadpoles. Am brewing more stories and ideas. Back soon, once I've cleaned the mud off my feet and worked out what I'm doing next ...

quick friday update

Earlier this week, The New Rakes' cover was born with bit of a dodgy strapline. But this being the week of lucky breaks -

It is changed!

After a night of panic* and lots of david bowie songs, I hit on a new strapline that has now been accepted:

She's got a lust for life

Ah, much better.

To celebrate, here's Iggy pop getting undressed on French TV. The interviewer is priceless.

Have a wonderful weekend all.

*(a massive thank you to the divine Miss Syl and Ray for offering so many great ideas)

Happy May!

[Or: The post where I get overexcited and link to just about everybody I know]

Ooh! Look, there's a lovely review from Ashley Lister up at the ERWA, for J is for Jealousy: 'replete with tales that are hotter than hot from the best of the best'.

Eh, he means us!

Shanna Germain's 'Intoxication' - 'the intensity of emotion in this story is so sharp it borders on brittle, but Shanna’s prose is invariably sexy' - course it is. She can't help herself, that girl. ; )

And Erastes - 'writes erotica like Oscar Wilde with an erection'.

And Jeremy Edwards who is, as we all know, 'an incredible storyteller'.

Plus me! 'damned fine' [he means the story. Not moi personally.]

'[her] use of descriptive language is phenomenal and she breathes life into every green-tinted letter on the page'

Check out my big phenomenal toothy grin!

'As with all Alison Tyler’s anthologies the quality of writing is constantly superb'

I think I shall spend the day preening.

Also, lately I seem to be winning lots of Stuff. I won a big filth book from Madelynne Ellis' comp at lust bites. And I just won a 'surrender' ring on Alison Tyler's Trollop Salon, as part of her Kristina Lloyd month.

I feel very blessed. And it's May, my favourite month! Wow, I shall have to have a cup of tea to calm down. If I get too happy there's a danger I'll become even less coherent than usual.
