*I should add, cracked the hubcap. No injuries except my pride!
That must happen all the time, don't you think? They probably have a mountain of spare hubcaps in the driving-school closet.
My oldest daugher (now almost 25) had her first accident while in a driver's ed car (they were hit) - she's only had one very minor fender bender since - so maybe it's a good omen? better a hubcap than a kneecapbtw, almost done with New Rakes and loving it!
Someday I'll entertain you with a few of my stories about teaching my kids to drive.Trust me. Don't sweat the hubcap. You'll do great.
Thanks, all! I just wish I'd learned to drive when I was young and indestructible!(And Robin, that's great! Hope you like the ending!)
Oh, dear, Nikki. I'm glad you're OK. Like Jeremy said, it probably happens all the time. You'll make it. Hang on.
Hey EllaRegina, Oh yes, I hang on for dear life! Everyone keeps saying one day it will click. I sincerely hope it does click, rather than going 'crunch'...
I passed on my third test, so just keep at it and it'll work out in the end."I like driving in my car -I'm satisfied it's got this far"No one's done that song yet, right?Or maybe..."You live, you learn..."
Oh, honey! Damn it! So close...Do you get to try again?
Hi hi hi, Thanks, Janine. I really hope so. Last night I just burst into tears after stalling for the nth time. For some reason I just can't *click* the clutch control! And hi, Wanderlust - is that you, S?! It wasn't a test, just a lesson - I need LOTS more practise before I sit the test!
Oh, it is. Why's it say Wanderlust? Lol. New computer. Have to change my settings. And whew, glad it's just practice!
