Nx, the kiddo and I would love to save tadpoles with you. Thumbs up. Glad you're enjoying the sun. :-)
Hey Alana. I really hope I *did* rescue them and not inadvertently feed them to a lurking slow-worm. My knowledge of tadpole predators is ... non existent. Anyway, cheers, and yes, come round tonight and we'll share my special summer cocktail!
What are you writing next? Something about mud??
Mmmmmmmmmmmm .... not sure! Actually, I'm trawling vintage gay porn at the moment. Not sure if there's a point to that yet.
My wee twin nephews were "saving" the tadpoles in a pond while I minded them last week. Apparently "saving" them and the pond (which they told me was "feeling sick and needed medicine") could be accomplished by throwing massive amounts of fallen tree blossom petals into the water. So I hope you managed to do that...
Oh, how sweet! Our rescue operation involved three bottles of Volvic, lots of mud and a car dash to the nearest stagnant stream. I wanted to take them home and keep them but boyf wasn't so keen on the idea of hundreds of tiny frogs hopping about the flat. Besides - what do you feed tadpoles, apart from blossom petals?
