Lots and lots of commas

That blue dot that is my novel is slooooowly stretching into an oblong. The words are flowing at the speed of glaciers.

As it's Friday, here's a funny little film I found when I was, um, faffing about...(perfect for anyone who should be doing something else right now)

Go the rectangle!

Your video post was so appropriate, considering I have been faffing around for the last couple of hours...

Hmm, I might watch it later.

Thanks, Mina! It's almost a snake now, isn't it? How sad do you think it would be to cheat and change the word count just to make it look bigger?

That sad?

Oh.

And Shon, why, I think you've cracked it! Putting off procrastination might be the solution...

What you really need to do Nikki is change your criteria for the wordmeter. Let the blue dot be your projected progress, your goal for words completed as of today.

That's not really cheating, is it? You're just rejigging the parameters a bit... These (public) wordmeters should be run on good intentions!

Someone should also invent a procrastimeter, to give one a sober shock when comparing it to the intention-based wordmeter.

A procrastimeter? Sounds like a good project to spend the morning on. I'll just need to learn html...
