Stranger and stranger...

Got the cover proofs for 'Sex with Strangers' yesterday. You can see right up the girl's skirt!

The book's out in June, and features two of my stories:

The art of fucking - set in an artist's studio. It gets messy, but in a good way.

A whole new city - the story of an uptight travel agent and the customer who shows her life in a different light.

In other news, I've had two stories accepted for anthologies I'm very excited about (but can't really whoop loudly just yet). And am working on a twisted orchid story for another...busy bee working hard for honey here...

Well done you, getting *two* stories in this one! Way to go!

But on a personal note, it breaks my heart into pieces to see this cover... :(

Oh Wendy, I know. It's a shame we're not all in it together. That's the one thing that kind of took the shine off it.

Look at those shoes! And the lenght of that skirt! She's going to break her ankles and catch her death.

My story is called Lust for Glory it is about a girl having some stealth sex with strangers and a gay guys' orgy.

You are a v. sweet and sympathetic person, Nikki... I know I should brush this off, and think of all the many collections I have been in, and all the books I've had published and reprinted in my 16 years in the business... but somehow this just hit a raw nerve. Because I *love* the story and I know it's good.

I need to get that puppy out somewhere else... and place it... and then I'll feel better.

Well done, Nikki! I read your Sex in Public story at the weekend and loved it – intriguing, dreamy, beautifully written, a little bit sleazy (car parks – yum) and ve-ery sexy. Sounds as if there’s heaps more for me to look forward to as well. Hurrah.

Mine in this antho is Wet Walls, a story about a woman and a mysterious graffiti artist with some paranormalish twists. I have to say, I’m finding the cover a bit Bruce Springsteen. And she looks as if she HAS caught her death with those mortuary-blue legs. Still, mustn’t grumble.

'Stealth sex'? Sounds great, Madelynne. I look forward to it.

Merci, Shanna. It is quite ooh la la, ain't it? I'm havering over whether I like it. The denim jerkin doesn't do much for me. And those shoes are filthy. Did you see the soles? But I like that they're headless. Perhaps the moody blue will look better in summer weather.

Wendy - I'm sure you'll find a home for it soon. Dinnae worry!

And thanks, Kristina! I like doing dreamy. Sultry dreamy with a hint of sleaze, yes, that's good.
Look forward too to your paranormal graffiti!
